The whole gay marriage issue is a contentious one. My own opinion is that although it may/may not be something that I wish to do in the future, the option still should be there for us gayers. Sure, what difference does it make - gay or straight? Let people live their lives whatever way they want. One argument against it is that they say that marriage is for straight couples to have children - so what about all the childless couples? Should they be forcibly divorced? That's my two...well one and a half...or maybe more like just a half...cent.

Happy Valentine's. It really is a day to make single people feel worse about themselves, but I'm actually glad its here this time around. For those who are interested, the history of Valentine's Day. I spent ages making a card last night (that's right - by hand), so hopefully the BF likes it.

And as a respite from the general soppiness...here's my alternative Valentine's card.
